Post-production work usually refers to the work photographers and film producers must do before their moving pictures are finally ready for exposure to the wide-stream and mainstream public out there. Because Instagram is so visually focused as it is, it’s necessary that amateurs like you and me (amateurs for the time being mind you) get into the regular habit of regularly editing all incoming and produced pictures and movies. Let’s rather make things picture perfect. That way I think it’s fair to say more people will like us and end up following us too.
But hang on a second, and whew, it does look like there’s just so much to do, there are other things that need to be seen to if you really want to figure out how to gain more followers on Instagram at better than even rates. Don’t know about you then, but I certainly do. Anyhow, let’s take a quick peek at what the pros have had to say about all of this so far. There’s the photos and the videos, I told you that. I also mentioned the importance of quality control, in different, not indifferent, words, or haven’t you being paying attention.
Better pic creation and finishing require correct use of the platform’s layouts and angles. A correct approach to how you, well, let’s just say, approach landing pages and links should also be taken. Finally, if you’re going to be in all of this for the long haul, you may as well start trying to enjoy yourself because, boy and like I said, it’s hard work ahead when you’re starting out. I picked up one thing one of the pros had to say about the things we need to do to pull in more followers. Was it a she?
Yes, that’s right, I think so. Anyway, she reckons we all need to, wait for it, ‘share the love’. Great! That’s what I’ll do then. And love me back too won’t you please, please me. But now, that’s the question. Oh well, work time then. What a bummer. Just when I thought I was going to be having loads of fun. But hey, Instagram work is fun. Smack-smack, whatever was I thinking. Anyway, all images and videos created and published need to be captioned, so they say. They also need to show a little personality.
You can get that right with all the QC work you’ve got up ahead of you. The pros reckon you should take a take no prisoners approach to your editing work. Like I’ve said, it’s all got to be picture perfect. The internet and especially the Instagram crowds out there are pretty discerning. These days, they only seem to want to have the best. I must just say that all the work doesn’t look so bad, seeing as though you’ve also got these really neat apps you can use to help you out with your layouts and angles for instance.
